By day, I work for a company designing things and honing my skills in marketing and design (and paying bills); and by night, I binge-watch TV shows like The Office, and scribble ideas in the backs of notebooks. I read, I cook, I dream of travels to exotic places, and I use all of these influences to create new ideas.
Some of these ideas have come to life: from a handmade blanket for my nephew, to a poster I designed for my S.O. The joy and awe these ideas have brought to others (and with some inspiration from the lovely man to the right) are pushing GooseInk from an idea in a notebook to what it is now: an avenue and process to bring my unique vision and (sometimes childlike) wonder to life, and bring happiness to others.
Hi, I'm Sara!
I was born and raised in a small town at the end of Los Angeles County. Growing up, I spent most of my time playing volleyball and writing and sketching on random pages at the back of notebooks.
My words started out as stereotypical teen girl confessions: unrequited crushes, complaints about life, and my need "to get out of this town." Through numerous essays, poems, papers, self-reflection, and sketches, I progressed and matured my style and vision from its roots in Southern California to its current life as re-interpretations of the world around me.
